Food is a portal into culture, you have to taste it to understand it.

Food is often used as an expression of cultural identity as food patterns are passed down from generation to generation. It is a way of preserving culture when we move to new places and a means of coping with homesickness. The unique cuisine from each country can reflect its history, lifestyle, values and beliefs.

In the coming Culture Tastic Cooking Series, Chef Paul Natrall, from Mr. Bannock Indigenous Cuisine, will guide you to explore and celebrate Indigenous culture through cooking.
