As the world is deeply concerned with the worsening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, the coming episode of Culture Tastic "Baking with Kids" is dedicated to supporting the Canadian Red Cross’s Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal.

How to participate?Step 1: RegistrationInteractive Cooking Class:
Saturday, March 19: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Participants with the pre-packaged ingredients will join the interactive cooking class to interact with the chef, ask questions to get feedback live and learn tips and tricks on how to improve your cooking skills. The class includes:
$38 / class (Registration Fee will be donated to Canadian Red Cross) This series of Culture Tastic "Baking with Kids" is dedicated to raising funds for Canadian Red Cross’s Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal. We encourage all participants to organize a bake sale within their own network after class to continue raising donation and to gather community support for Ukraine. Prepare your own ingredients ahead of time and tune in on March 19 at 11:00 a.m. Participants can view the cooking class via Facebook / YouTube Live. Step 2: Get ready for the class Prepare the ingredients as listed on the recipes. Remember some ingredients need to be prepared before the class.

Chef Betty HungPastry chef Betty Hung, co-owner of Beaucoup Bakery & Café started baking at a young age and she likes to share the experience with aspiring, young bakers. In between running the bakery, writing a cookbook and a blog, Betty likes to give back to the community.
In November 2018, Betty has published her first cookbook French Pastry 101 with Page Street Publishing. It has been her longtime dream to become a cookbook author. Betty shares some of her secrets to the baking and makes the art of making French Pastry approachable.
